The starship hull construction display lists the different styles of starship hull that you have the
tech level to build. These are selected from those hulls available for your
chosen race to construct. When you build a starship hull, it remains in storage at the starbase until
assembled.
The display shows the cost to build this starship hull in MegaCredits and the amount of
minerals needed. The display also shows the amount of money in the planet's
treasury and minerals remaining on the
planet.
Starship hulls may be fitted with
engines, as well as a selection of
beam weapons and/or
torpedo tubes. Some starship hulls come pre-assembled
with
fighter launch bays instead of spaces for torpedo tubes. A starship
can be assembled without weapons, but it must have engines fitted in order to be launched.
