Starbase Mine Laying

Many races have the ability to develop the technology to lay minefields from a starbase.

This advantage is disabled by default, and can be researched with Campaign Resources. The Lay Mines and Lay Web Mines (Crystals only) Primary Orders are used to trigger this advantage.

When this advantage is triggered, all torpedoes stocked by the starbase are converted to mines, or web mines, as requested. Torpedoes will be converted, from lowest tech to highest tech, until either all torpedoes have been converted to mines, or the maximum allowable minefield has been reached.

This advantage is worth 30 advantage points and is available to players of:

• The Lizard Alliance
• The Hordes of Fury
• The Privateer Bands
• The Cyborg
• The Crystal Confederation
• The Rebel Confederation
• The Missing Colonies of Man

The research cost for this advantage is 4400 GigaCredits.
