Some of the carrier-based races have the ability to research the use of fighters on starbases to sweep
minefields. As with the
Fighter Minesweep
mission on starships, this Primary Order allows fighters on the starbase to sweep mines up to 100 light-years from the starbase. Each fighter will sweep up to 20 mines per turn. Web mines will not be swept with this Primary Order.
This advantage is disabled by default, and can be researched with
Campaign Resources. The
Sweep Mines
Primary Order is used to trigger this advantage.
