Shield Generator

A special Shield Generator has been installed on the Saber Class Shield Generator. The Fury have the ability to research this starship with Campaign Resources. The Shield Generator has the following effects:

• Starships in the same location as a starship with a Shield Generator, and owned by the same player, will receive an increase in maximum shield strength by 25 percentage points.
• Starships in the same location as a starship with a Shield Generator, and owned by the same player, will recover 25 percentage points worth of shield strength between successive combats.
• Starships in the same location as a starship with a Shield Generator, and owned by the same player, will receive a combat mass bonus equal to 50% of the cost of one engine in the starship in combat, as described in the following table:

• A starship with a Shield Generator does not affect itself, but it may be affected by another starship with a Shield Generator.
